Tickets are now available for Bacchus Summer Fest, a wine-tasting summer celebration hosted by Vino Cellars at the Lake Wine Shop & Lounge, near Kimberling City, Missouri. The second annual event is scheduled for Saturday, June 24, from noon to 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased at vcellars.com, under Table Rock Lake/Lake Online Store. Guests will receive a complimentary Riedel wine glass the day of the event, along with a taste of more than 25 fabulous wines.
Bacchus Summer Fest was designed in 2016 by Vino Cellars owners Matt and Steph Bekebrede, as a fundraiser for local charities. The couple also owns a wine shop & lounge in Springfield, Missouri, but calls the Table Rock Lake area home. “We wanted to give back to our community,” say Matt and Steph. Following their first successful benefit for the Boys & Girls Club of the Ozarks, the Bekebredes decided to make their summer wine-tasting festival an annual event.
This year, a portion of all Bacchus Summer Fest ticket sales, plus 10% of all in-store sales, will go to Harbor House Domestic Violence Center, a program offered through Christian Associates of Table Rock Lake. “There is an ongoing need for items not covered by funds we already receive,” says Vicki Trump, Executive Director of the local domestic violence shelter. “Vino Cellars’ generous gift will help with gas cards, prescriptions and hygiene products for our guests.” Harbor House provided refuge for nearly 200 women and children last year alone.
Bacchus Summer Fest tickets can also be purchased the day of the event. The cost is $20 at the door. Vino Cellars at the Lake Wine Shop & Lounge is located at 15038 Business Highway 13, in the Stoneridge Business District between Branson West and Kimberling City.
