With us fully becoming our own entity in 2020 and the COVID-19 Pandemic hitting us in early March, we found ourselves in need of a food program and additional cold storage. Our food donations became very limited.
Community Foundation of the Ozarks stepped up and assisted us by suppling Harbor House with a grant to purchase a second commercial refrigerator and commercial freezer. The grant also allowed us to create a Food Only Program so we could issue certificates to the women and children to assist them in purchasing their own food. This program will assist our clients through Mid-November of 2020.
This grant is very much appreciated by our clients.
